Heal the Bay, Mattel & the SoCal Honda Dealers invite you to celebrate Earth Month at Nothin' But Sand.
You love the beach, you can protect it!
Choose from two Earth Month Nothin' But Sand cleanup sites:
WILL ROGERS STATE BEACH 15800 Pacific Coast Highway at Temescal Canyon ($1 parking)
TORRANCE BEACH 201 Paseo de la Playa, Torrance, CA 90501 ($6 parking)
- Group Leaders - please register yourself ONLY on behalf of your group. Then ensure that all of your participating group members sign a Waiver & Liability form. Everyone in your group must sign a Waiver & Liability form in order to participate. One week before Nothin' But Sand, please contact us at 800 HEAL BAY x148 and provide the name of your group and the number of volunteers (feel free to leave a voice message with this information). Again, ONLY the group leader needs to register on this page.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian to participate. Volunteers under the age of 12 must also be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Single-use trash bags, gloves and data cards will be provided. However, you can help us reduce the waste generated during the cleanups by bringing your own re-usable trash bucket or pail.
To thank you for your service, Nothin' But Sand volunteers will receive FREE admission to our Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. Experience the Bay, meet the locals and enjoy special Earth Month celebration theme weekend activities Saturday April 16 or Sunday April 17, from 11am to 6pm (for free entry, please print out and bring your confirmation email).
The Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, Heal the Bay’s public marine education center, is located beach-level, just below the Carousel, at the world famous Santa Monica Pier at 1600 Ocean Front Walk.
